Adventure Camp 2017

In our constant endeavor to provide an educative outdoor experience and an opportunity to develop ability and confidence amongst the youth of the age group of 10 to 17 years, Trek India is conducting Adventure camp. This camp will enrich the experience of our youth and will inculcate a sense of responsibility, courage, team work, self-confidence, discipline that helps them in every walk of life.


Day 01: Report at Base camp Naggar, ( 5,800 feet ).

Forenoon : Introduction to the Instructors team, briefing of the programme, Do’s and Don’ts, Mountain manners, group formation. Expectation session, team & confidence building games.

Afternoon: Mountain sports Climbing, High Rope activities: Commando Net, Swinging Bridge, Plank Walk, Burma Bridge, Sloth Walk and Obstacles. The day ends with bone fire after dinner.

Day 02: Forenoon : River crossing and rappelling.

Afternoon: Orientation and preparation for the trek. The day ends with an adventure movie and  bone fire after dinner.

Day 03: After breakfast we trek to the higher camp to get the pleasure of gaining height and also enjoying the picturesque setting of the surrounding mountains. Night out in the Jungle camp.

Day 04: It will be one of the most exciting day when we trek to the snow field to indulge in snow games and back to Jungle camp by evening.

Day 05: Before leaving for base camp, we make sure that we don’t have any leftovers and we’ll clean the campsite as responsible nature lovers. After Lunch at Base camp, we go for artificial rock climbing  followed by camp games.

Day 06:The programme will be concluded after breakfast, with closing ceremony and goodbye  that promise you with the cherished lifetime experience.


Accommodation in spacious and comfortable tents at base camp , Naggar ( 6 to 8 pax in a tent, ground bedding with mattresses, pillows and blankets ). There is a separate block of toilets and washrooms with running hot and cold water for male and female.

Accommodation in Alpine  tents ( 4men/6men/8men ) during the trek in higher camps ( separate toilet tent facility is provided ).

Sleeping bags ( Holofill ), Rucksack, Trekking mats.

A variety of wholesome hygienic vegetarian meals.

All activities as per the itinerary.

Transportation/ transfers as per the itinerary.

Services of qualified instructors/ guides, cook, kitchen helper and mules/porters to carry camping equipment if logistics required.

First aid kit with oxygen cylinder.


Transportation to reach base camp and back to your destination. However, arrangements of travelling can be made on request.

Any accidental, emergency, travel or medical Insurance.

Any expenses of a personal nature.

Beverages or drinks of any sort, including soft drinks or bottled / mineral water.

Any charges to visit monument/ heritage buildings and photography or camera charges.

Any transportation charges or transfers which are not mentioned in the itinerary.

Any charges for a manual or helicopter evacuation, hospitalisation in case of a medical emergency or the like.

The Personal porterage / horses  for carrying of individual kit or baggage.

Note: Those who are on special medication should bring their own necessary medicines. People having Asthma, Blood Pressure, Heart Problems or any high altitude ailments are advised not to participate.

The base camp, Naggar is located 20 kms. short of  Manali on left bank.  Manali is about 560 kms. from Delhi. There are overnight buses from Delhi. Services of semi deluxe, deluxe, air-conditioned and Volvo buses are available. Bhuntar which is 30 kms.short of Naggar is also connected by air.


The Programme schedule can be changed due to unforeseen circumstances. In case of any illness during the expedition, the expenses for medical treatment, travel and porter etc. are to be borne by the concerned individual. Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited during the camp. Trek India Outdoors cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness or any unexpected events during the expedition. Primary medical facilities will be available wherever, possible. Participants will be presented with certificates only on successful completion of the expedition. During the expedition the decision of the Camp Director will be final and binding.


Cotton shirts, cotton pants, woollen pullover, jacket, muffler, woolen cap, cotton and woolen socks, trekking shoes, gloves, light towel, Flip-flop (chappals), light rain coat or plastic sheet, sunglasses (other than blue color), torch with cells, water bottle, electoral powder, lunch box, sun block, Vaseline/cold cream, toiletries, needle with thread, ball point pen, a notebook, personal medical kit, soap etc.


The following charges will be applicable in case of cancellation:

30 days or more prior to start of the programme: Nil
29-20 days prior to start of the programme: 25%
19-10 days prior to start of the programme: 50%
Less than 10 days prior to start of the programme: 100%
